Culver Square, a popular shopping centre located in Colchester, invites you to step into a winter wonderland of festive delight from November 15th to December 23rd, promising an unforgettable holiday experience for families.
The highlight of the event is ‘The Culver Express’, a static Christmas train carriage installation which will be transformed into a magical grotto and nestled in the heart of the shopping centre. Before boarding to meet the big man himself, visitors will be free to pass the time in the festively-dressed waiting room, where a medley of activities will be stationed to keep the children entertained. Shoppers can secure their passage on The Culver Express for £10, which grants them access for a one-to-one interaction with Santa and a generous gift.
Save the date – Wednesday, the 15th of November – when the Christmas Fair returns to the square coinciding with a breathtaking Festive Lights Parade in Colchester City Centre. Christmas market will be open between 11am to 7pm, with wonderful offerings from local businesses. From delicious baked goods to unique handcrafted treasures, there’s gift ideas for everyone.
In a time of increased need, Culver Square proudly stands with Colchester Food Bank and Colchester BID to ensure that every child receives a gift. Last year’s collective efforts raised an astonishing £14,000 in donations!
A hallmark of the season of giving, the Giving Tree appeal returns for its third year in collaboration with Colchester Food Bank, ensuring that the warmth of the holiday spirit reaches every heart. Adorned with removable gift tags, shoppers are encouraged to select a tag, purchase the specified gift, and leave it in the donation box for wrapping.
For those who prefer to make direct donations, a prominently displayed QR code provides a convenient option to do so.
