A campaign will be returning to spread kindness across Essex and Suffolk next week.
Essex & Suffolk Water’s ‘Make my day’ initiative aims to celebrate the company’s customers and people, and employees will be out and about across the region, surprising people with gifts and donations, and volunteering to support community organisations.
The campaign marks National Customer Service Week (October 1-5) and will also see the company set up a mini Mobile Customer Help Centre in the heart of communities. Essex & Suffolk Water’s customer vehicle, Flo, will be in Barking on Monday and Lowestoft on Tuesday, offering people a chance to drop in and meet Customer Team members with their queries.
Earlier this year, the company asked its customers to nominate people or organisations that they felt deserved a treat and hundreds of suggestions came in. A panel of judges then tackled the tough task of deciding who the lucky recipients should be. A vote followed for Essex & Suffolk Water employees to determine further recipients of ‘People’s Choice’ surprises.
Teams from Essex & Suffolk Water will be volunteering to help out organisations in locations including Langford.
