26 Feb 2017 Oscars – The Nominees and The Predictions
By Tasha Turner
Tonight stars from the world of entertainment and Hollywood’s biggest heavyweights head to Dolby Theatre in Hollywood in California for The 89th Academy Awards ceremony, the annual soiree will honour the best films of 2016, so I thought I would go through the nominees and my predictions.
Ok so basically my main predictions:
- Its going to get very political, we already saw the Golden Globes turning into an anti-Trump rally so I’m sure everyone has an extra special speech planned for the night. Meryl Streep could lead this segment !
“La La Land” leads all movies with 14 nominations, following a good season at the BAFTA’s they could be set to scoop additional gongs for the hit film.
The nominees who will go into very soon are diverse. Will the winners be? The Oscars have had so many outcry’s for their lack of diversity but tonight could be the night all that changes.
And the nominations are ……………………
