05 Jun Local model named finalist of a prestigious Pageant Competition

An Ilford model has been named the finalist of a prestigious pageant competition.
The UK Power Pageant Competition will determine seven winners that will go on to represent UK in the international competitions. The titles include World Supermodel UK, Miss International UK, Miss Grand England, Scotland & Wales, Miss Intercontinental England,Scotland and Wales and Miss Grand England, Scotland and Wales.
Simona Mizaraite, Miss Ilford International 2017, has been selected as one of the finalists, she told EssexTV ”I was really surprised when I received a letter to confirm that I have been selected.
“I am not a professional model and even though I have tried to break into modeling a number of times before, my attempts were not successful, as for most agencies you have to meet specificrequirements in order to be selected.
“I am happy there are competitions like this, that are less restricted and do not take your height or measurements into consideration but judge you on the overall look and personality.”
The grand final will be held the upcoming weekend on June 11th at the Park Hall Hotel in
Lancashire.
