Across Perrywood, the main Christmas theme, ‘Step into a Storybook’, will inspire customers from Friday 25 September, when the Christmas shops at Tiptree and Sudbury open their doors. Buckhatch will follow on Friday 2 October, with all three centres bringing books, stories and characters to life, creating magical worlds to wow and delight.
Perrywood Tiptree is inviting customers to step into the 1930s for a festive dining experience with a difference.
From 20 November to 24 December, the Conservatory will be transformed into Perrywood Manor, where customers can enjoy a festive breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea – alongside an optional murder mystery.
Set during a glamorous 1930s Christmas, customers can become detectives, follow clues and uncover evidence to solve the case. Not feeling particularly investigative? No problem – taking part in the mystery is completely optional, so customers can simply sit back, enjoy their food and soak up the festive atmosphere.
Graham Fretwell Catering Operations Manager said: “Our Christmas theme this year is Step into a Storybook, so we wanted to bring that idea to life across Perrywood. Perrywood Manor is a chance for our customers to step into their own Christmas story, enjoy a lovely meal and, if they fancy it, try their hand at solving a mystery too.”
With Christmas decorations, photo opportunities, optional 1930s fancy dress and a story designed for both adults and children, Perrywood Manor promises a festive experience to remember.
Christmas dining is available seven days a week, with advance booking required. A selection of gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options is also available.
Christmas Dining at Perrywood Tiptree runs from 20 November to 24 December 2026.
For menus, full details and bookings, visit perrywood.co.uk/pages/christmas-dining.
The rest of the Coffee Shop & Restaurant will remain open as normal throughout this period, so customers can continue to enjoy their usual Perrywood favourites without taking part in the Christmas experience.
