Essex business Inntel celebrates third consecutive European industry award

Feering-based travel management company (TMC), Inntel, has won Business Travel Partner of the Year – Small TMC at the Business Travel Awards Europe 2026, securing the prestigious title for the third consecutive year at a ceremony held at JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London on 30th September.

The independent Essex business took home the Gold award after being shortlisted alongside five other travel management companies, completing a remarkable hat-trick of wins in 2024, 2025 and 2026.

The Business Travel Awards Europe recognise excellence across the continent’s corporate travel industry. Organised by the BTN Group, this year’s gala dinner brought together nearly 800 industry professionals and was hosted by impressionist, comedian and broadcaster Jon Culshaw.

The judges praised Inntel’s ability to combine its own proprietary technology with highly personalised service and solutions tailored around individual client needs. They also highlighted the company’s strong growth and client retention, innovation in booking and approval processes, investment in its people and embedded approach to sustainability.

Douglas O’Neill, CEO of Inntel, said:

“To win a European industry award once is a fantastic achievement, but to bring it back to Essex for the third year running is something very special. We were shortlisted alongside some outstanding businesses, so retaining the title against such strong competition makes this win even more meaningful.

“This recognition belongs to the whole Inntel team. Our success is built on great people, a strong culture, loyal clients and partners, and technology that we continually develop around what our clients need. We’re incredibly proud to be an independent Essex business competing and succeeding on a European stage.”

Founded in 1984, Inntel has grown from a small family business into one of the UK’s largest independently owned meetings, events and travel management companies.

For a business headquartered in the Essex village of Feering, securing the prestigious European award three years in a row marks a significant achievement and reflects Inntel’s continued growth.
